What to Expect
Attending psychotherapy, especially for the first time, can feel like a daunting process. We understand it takes tremendous effort and courage to recognise you need help and to seek support. We try to make the process as comfortable as possible by greeting you with warmth, non-judgment and professionalism. We endeavour to be collaborative and transparent in our treatment as the best way to establish a safe and trusting relationship that supports healing. Please call or email to arrange a brief chat about what we can help with. If you feel we are a good fit, we can then book an initial appointment for assessment and treatment planning. We utilise Feedback-Informed Treatment (FIT) to measure how treatment is progressing for you, as well as how our service is doing in helping you reach therapeutic goals.

Fees
Individual Therapy
Appointments are $260 per session and last 50 minutes. The Medicare rebate amount is $145.25 each session; you will pay a gap fee of $114.75. You are eligible for up to 10 Medicare-funded sessions per calendar year with a GP referral and mental health care plan. If you have private health insurance, please check with your provider if you have cover for psychology.
Group Therapy
You are eligible for a further 10 Medicare-funded group sessions in addition to individual therapy, which means you can access up to 20 therapy sessions in the calendar year.
Trauma Stabilisation Group
Sensorimotor psychotherapy for trauma stabilisation group program begins in January 2026. This is suitable for people struggling with emotional instability due to shock or attachment traumas. This is not a treatment for trauma memory processing, but will help stabilise your symptoms to enable you to proceed to undertake trauma memory processing. Sensorimotor psychotherapy helps you identify trauma held within the body and utilises the body to manage bodily and emotional symptoms.
Time: 10 weeks every Sunday, January 11th - March 15th 2026, 12pm-2pm.
Cost: This is a pilot program with a reduced fee. You will pay a gap fee of $31.70 each session after Medicare rebate amount of $68.30.
Groups are limited in numbers. Please send an email to enquire about being placed on a waiting list for this group treatment program.
